Each of the local businesses will exhibit the selected works from April 3rd Friday through May in their windows. Additionally, from the winning images, judges will select 12 images for a 2009 calendar also to be sold at the above locations. A “People’s Choice Award” will be chosen during the exhibition for the calendar cover.
Postcards:

There is no entry fee. Entrants grant the each location the sole right to reproduce and sell the winning entries as postcards and to reproduce those images for promotions. The artist will not receive payment from the sale of the postcards. Every postcard or promotional piece promotes you and your image. All copyrights, beyond the publication of the images as postcards, remain with the artist. .

Eligibility:
1. Artists may submit up to three original works in any 2D media (drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, etc.) completed within the past 10 years.
2. No piece may exceed 24” X 36,” including frame. Minimum size of image: 8”x10” All work must be wired for hanging and suitably framed (no clips or fast frames). Works on paper and photographs must be glazed. It will be necessary to remove winning works from their frames for reproduction.
3. RRCA will not assemble any item and reserves the right to reject any work that requires an inordinate amount of difficulty in
handling. No wet, fragile, or ill-prepared work will be accepted.
4. All work must be for sale. A 40% commission will be retained by the RRCA on the sale of any artwork, unless the artist is an Associate Member.
5. Label: Back right hand corner of each piece, including: Artist’s Name, Title, Medium and Price, with no personal contact information.
6. All works selected for exhibition will remain for the duration of the show and may not be withdrawn until designated pick up dates.
