Upcoming Events at the RRCA
Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, 22 N. High Street, Millville,
in the Arts District
Second Saturday, February 10, closing of the Barn Group and Glasstown Artists exhibitons.
Begin the morning with a workshop given by master watercolorist Alex Alampi from 9:30 2pm. Bring a bag lunch for a short break. Refreshments will be served.
Then come right down stairs for the first in a series of Meet the Artists. The Associate Artists showing the Artists Alcove will be on hand to discuss their work. Come and learn more about the skills that Art Parkin, Doris Botts, Carol Hiemenz, Michelle Dougherty goes from 2-4pm. Tea sandwiches have been donated by Millvilles lovely Vintage Rose Tea Room. Come enjoy this delicious treat. Tea will also be served. The Songwriters Guild will be on hand to provide musical ambience.
3rd Friday, February 16th, RRCA features its Associate Member Artists in the Main Gallery and Bobbie Berg whose exhibition is entitled, Marking Time: Landscapes Reflecting the Changing Seasons, is in the Witt Gallery. Local guitarist will be playing is own songs.

February 18th is Chinese New Year Members Event, the Celebration of the Year of the Pig, it is also a day to celebrate being a RRCA member or to find out more about membership. If you have been thinking of joining, now is the time to do so. Chinese/Japanese food donated by Peking Tokyo. Chinese Movies. Of course, a Chinese Auction. Learn and participate in the custom of the Wishing Tree. Time: 2-5pm
Ellen Gavin is back by popular demand to teach a second Oil Painting class on Wednesday, February 21, from 9:30 -12:30. Learn the art of simple and effective oil painting. $45 for members and $50 for non-members.
Saturday, February 24 is a busy day with RRCA events. First at the Cumberland County Mall from 10-3pm is the first Cumberland County Youth Expo featuring RRCA ACE students and the Middle School Artist in Residency Program students will have their work on display by Boscovs entrance.
Later that evening at 7pm, Chase away the Mid-Winter Blues with the help of Doug Donnelly, slide blues guitarist.
